Duration: Temporary – 1 year (extendable as per project needs)
Project Title:
Tobacco cessation precision tool: Predictive analytics using Machine Learning in predicting successful quit attempts.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Post Graduate Degree (including integrated PG) with 5 years post-qualification experience OR PhD with 2 years post-qualification experience.
- For Engineering/IT/CS: Four-year graduate degree with 5 years experience, OR PG degree with 3 years experience, OR PhD.
Skills Required:
- Proven experience in AI/ML in healthcare or behavioral sciences
- Proficiency in Python & AI/ML libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face)
- Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) & RAG architectures
- Familiarity with speech-to-text frameworks (Whisper, Wav2Vec2.0, Google Speech API)
- Experience in data preprocessing, annotation, and model evaluation
Preferred Skills:
- Behavioral change models or public health interventions
- Chatbots, dialog systems, conversational agents
- Hindi/regional language model fine-tuning
- Government/healthcare sector projects
- Deployment in resource-constrained settings
Job Profile:
- Lead AI model design, development, and validation for the CARE AI system
- Collaborate with clinicians, tobacco cessation experts, and technologists
- Integrate multilingual speech recognition modules
- Design evaluation protocols for clinical validation
- Ensure ethical AI deployment and data privacy
- Supervise junior research staff and interns
- Prepare reports, publications, and grant documentation
- Work with external partners and government stakeholders
