Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IITH), one of India’s premier engineering institutions, invites applications from Indian Nationals, PIOs, and OCIs for Faculty Positions at the levels of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor in various departments.
Foreign nationals may also apply (appointment on contract for up to five years).

Additional Eligibility and Considerations
- Candidates should have a strong record of research with publications in reputed Q1 journals and A*/A conferences, patents, and research guidance.
- Applicants must demonstrate teaching and research excellence in their area of specialization.
- For all positions, degrees must be from recognized universities/institutes.
- Reservation for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS and PwBD as per Government of India norms.
- Persons with benchmark disabilities (minimum 40%) are encouraged to apply.
Benefits and Research Support
- Relocation Allowance: Up to ₹1.5 lakh or actuals.
- ulative Professional Development Allowance (CPDA): ₹3 lakh per block of 3 years.
- Health Coverage: Contributory Health Services Scheme for faculty and family.
- Seed Grant: ₹10 lakh immediately after joining; additional seed grant based on proposal.
- AI Department Exclusive Grant: ₹1 crore + 2 PhD students (MoE fellowship) within one year of joining.
- Travel Grant: Annual grant for strengthening collaborations.
- Exceptional CSE Candidates: ₹20,000 salary top-up for the first year (through endowment).

- No email or hard copy submission will be accepted.
- Candidates employed in Government or Educational Institutions must apply through proper channel or provide No Objection Certificate at the time of interview.
- Separate applications are required for each department.
- List of publications must include impact factor and journal Quartile (Q1, Q2, etc.).
- Foreign nationals must obtain political and security clearance from the Ministry of External Affairs and Ministry of Home Affairs before appointment.
