The Tata Institute of Fundamental Research invites applications from bright young scientists for Faculty Positions at the levels of Professor, Associate Professor, and Reader in the following disciplines:

• Mathematics

• Physical Sciences

• Chemical Sciences

• Biology and Life Sciences

• Computer Science (Learning, Information, and Data Science)

• Science Education Research

Eligibility

• Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in one of the listed disciplines from a recognized institution.

• Applicants should have an outstanding research record as per international standards.

• Fresh Ph.D. holders with exceptional research potential may be considered for Reader (tenure-track) positions.

• Experienced researchers with proven leadership may be considered for Associate Professor or Professor positions.

Role Expectations

Selected candidates are expected to:

• Lead an active, independent research program.

• Supervise and train students at the TIFR Graduate School.

• Contribute to academic and scientific development within the department.
