Minimum Qualification and Experience
Assistant Professor Grade II
PhD with first class or equivalent in the preceding degree
Very good academic record throughout
Maximum Age Limit: 32 years
Appointment on contract basis
Assistant Professor Grade I
PhD with first class or equivalent in the preceding degree
Minimum three years of post-PhD teaching, research, or industrial experience
Maximum Age Limit: 35 years
Associate Professor (School of Innovation only)
PhD with first class or equivalent
Minimum six years of teaching, research or industrial experience
At least three years at Assistant Professor Grade I level or equivalent
Pay Scale and Benefits (7th CPC)
Assistant Professor Grade II
- Pay Level 10
- Minimum Basic Pay: Rs. 70,900 per month
Assistant Professor Grade I
- Pay Level 12
- Minimum Basic Pay: Rs. 1,01,500 per month
Associate Professor
- Pay Level 13A2
- Minimum Basic Pay: Rs. 1,39,600 per month
Allowances include Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Transport Allowance, LTC, Children Education Allowance, Medical Facilities and New Pension Scheme benefits as per Government of India rules.
Reservation and Relaxation
