Indian Institute of Information Technology, Nagpur (IIITN) is one of the 20 Indian Institutes of Information Technology established under Public-Private Partnership Scheme by Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India. IIITN has been declared as an “Institution of National Importance” and at present the Institute is functioning under Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and is supported by Department of Higher Education, Government of Maharashtra and Tata Consultancy Services, Mumbai as Industry Partner. 

IIIT, Nagpur is offering Under Graduate and PhD Programmes in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) with the specialization i.e. AIML, DSA, HCIGT and Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) Courses with the specialization i.e. IoT. 

The Institute is located at Survey No. 140,141/1 Behind Br. Sheshrao Wankhade Shetkari Sahkari Soot Girni, Village - Waranga, PO - Dongargaon (Butibori), Tahsil - Nagpur (Rural), District – Nagpur (Maharashtra) – 441108. The development of state-of-the-art Permanent Campus of the Institute is being undertaken on sprawling 100 Acres of land. 

The Institute is looking for a dedicated and committed Indian National to fill up the following post of Adjunct Assistant Professor (AAP):

Computer Science & Engineering	04	Essential: Ph.D. or M.Tech. In Computer Science & Engineering / Allied Branches. Both B.E./ B.Tech. & M.Tech.  should be In Computer Science & Engineering / Allied Branches with First Class or Equivalent Grade.   Desirable:   Faculty should be proficient in handling the regular and specialization specific courses for the BTech CSE Specializations viz. Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Data Science & Analytics, Human Computer Interaction & Gaming Technology, as per the scheme & syllabus available on the Institute website.
Electronics & Communication Engineering	03	Essential: Ph.D. In Electronics & Communication Engineering. Both B.Tech. & M.Tech. should be with First Class or Equivalent Grade.   Desirable:   Faculty should be proficient in handling the regular and specialization specific courses for the BTech ECE Specializations viz. Internet of Things (IoT), as per the scheme & syllabus available on the Institute website.
Basic Science (Mathematics)	01	Essential: Ph.D. in relevant discipline (Mathematics) with First Class at B.Sc. / M.Sc. Level

Note: - The above posts of AAPs are to be filled-up on purely temporary & contractual basis for initial period of 11 Months.

Job Description: Primarily Teaching along with Academic, Administrative, Student Activities and Research related functions. 

Reporting To: Associate Dean / Head of the Department or as advised from time to time. 

Candidates who have completed defense for the PhD before closing date for the receipt of the Application Forms will have to attach the Certificate / Notification mentioning that Candidate is declared eligible for award of PhD Degree wherever applicable. 

Desirable Experience: Minimum one year will be preferred in Teaching / Research / Industry.

Desirable Requirement: Candidate having PhD from CFTIs like IITs, NITs, IIITs, INIs etc will be preferred. The persons with higher qualifications & good academic record shall be given preference.

Consolidated Salary:     Rs. 65,000/- per Month (For PhD Holders)

                                         Rs. 60,000/- per Month (For Non-PhD Holders)
