Job Description & Duties
- Conduct high-quality research in the nominated specializations.
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
- Supervise student research.
- Contribute to curriculum development and outreach.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the institute.
Service Conditions & Benefits
- One year of probation (with possibility of extension)
- Pay scales per Central Government norms:
- Assistant Professor Grade I: Pay Level 12 (with possibility of movement to Level 13A1 after review)
- Associate Professor: Level 13A2
- Professor: Level 14A
- Allowances: HRA, dearness, transport, children’s education, LTC, medical etc.
- Pension under the New Pension Scheme
- Other incentives: CPDA, campus housing or HRA, travel/relocation aid after probation, seed grants
