Criteria & Eligibility
- Educational Qualification: Ph.D. with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch, with a very good academic record at all levels.
- For Engineering Disciplines: Candidate must preferably have a B.Tech degree in the relevant discipline.
- Age Limit: Less than 32 years (for Visiting Assistant Professor).
Nature of Appointment
- Temporary / contractual basis as per institute norms.
Duration of Appointment
- Initially for one year, extendable by another year based on performance.
- Performance reviewed annually for continuation.
Emoluments
- Consolidated pay: Rs. 80,000/- to Rs. 1,50,000/- per month, depending on experience and status.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Teach assigned courses and prepare new courses.
- Develop laboratories and conduct research.
- Take seminars or workshops, participate in industry–institute interactions.
- Contribute to administrative duties as assigned by the competent authority.
