- A signed cover letter indicating the research group to which the application is being made.
- CV containing the full list of publications. The list should clearly separate publications in refereed journals from those in conference proceedings.
- A research experience (maximum two pages) indicating the role of the candidate / academic leadership / independence.
- References of five best publications, explaining their importance and role of the candidate in these works.
- A research plan (maximum two pages). For applicants in experimental fields, the plan must include the requirement for laboratories and equipment. Applicants are strongly advised to check the list of equipment available in SINP and indicate the ones which might be useful in their proposed research.
- Statement of teaching experience (all candidates are expected to teach courses in SINP, which is a Constituent Institution of HBNI, Mumbai.)
- PhD Certificate (self-attested).
- Post-doctoral experience certificate certifying a minimum of two years of experience in postdoctoral position(s) as on the original closing date of application (certificate proforma is given in Annexure-I of the advertisement).
- Age proof certificate (school passing certificate / admit card / passport).
- Candidates claiming age relaxation as per GoI Rules must submit relevant documents in support of the claim, otherwise claim will not be entertained.
- A list of five (5) referees. Each applicant must ensure that at least three (3) letters of recommendation from the list of five referees reach SINP directly from the referees to recruit.faculty[AT]saha.ac.in with candidate’s name in the subject line by the closing date of application.
- Any other relevant information the applicant may wish to share.
After submitting the online application, each applicant should save the completed application form as a PDF file and then print it. The PDF file is to be emailed along with other documents in a single zip file (the zip file should contain all PDF files, academic records, other documents, etc.) to:
